Two very different songs are the biggest hits of the century, according to
two performing-rights organizations. Happy Birthday to You, copyrighted in
1935 by sisters Mildred and Patty Hill, is the most performed song of the
20th century, according to the American Society of Composers, Authors and
Publishers. On Broadcast Music Inc.'s chart, No. 1 is You've Lost That
Lovin' Feelin', made famous by the Righteous Brothers. (USA Today)
