O.J. Simpson and Denise Brown exchanged insults in a televised confrontation
Thursday, with his ex-sister-in-law calling Simpson "a pig" for suggesting
she wanted to have sex with him. Simpson called in to a live Fox News
Channel discussion that included Brown. He was angry that Fox News Live
host Shepard Smith had suggested Simpson testified that he had taken a
polygraph after his ex-wife's murder, something Simpson has denied. The
discussion quickly turned personal. "What makes you think you could pass
it now?" said Brown, who was interviewed in a studio in Anaheim, Calif.
"You murdered Nicole and you know you did it." Simpson was acquitted of
criminal charges in the 1994 murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend,
Ronald Goldman. However, he was found liable for their deaths in a
subsequent civil trial and was ordered to pay the victims' families $33.5

Attorney and friend of O.J. Simpson, Mary Fox on Court TV's Crier Today,
explaining how Thursday's impromptu exchange actually occurred. "Actually,
Fox had pressured me and asked me to call him (OJ) about eight times.  He
said no, 'I will not call in', but they (Fox) pushed enough buttons and he
called in and that's what you saw...They wanted him to call in a do a live
interview with me and they promised they would not do exactly what they
did.  They said we'll be fair to him and he can speak and he said, 'no,
that's why I'm going to do the Internet show because they're (Fox) not fair
people and I don't want to call in,' but somehow they were able to push
the right buttons and he did call in...I was rather shocked." (Court TV)

Rodeo fans were saddened by the death of America's largest show bull, a
1,600-pound bull named Bodacious. Al Gore and George W. Bush have their
work cut out for them.  Only a presidential campaign can replace that much

It's been reported that "George W. Bush has formed his own think tank to
come up with policy ideas...  Bush in a think tank. George, stay in the

The big new movie this week:  Nicolas Cage's "Gone in 60 Seconds."  Folks,
please, whatever you do, do not confuse this with the last "Gone in 60
