Reuters (03/19/98)
The French health ministry is helping to finance five X-rated movies
intended to encourage condom use. French pay-television channel Canal Plus
will broadcast the first of the five short subjects on AIDS prevention on
April 4. The health ministry will contribute about one-third of the
$195,000 needed for the short subjects, which will be broadcast just before
the channel's popular monthly showings of hard-core pornography.
