FAIR ACTION ALERT

"Progressive Roundtable on... The Charlie Rose Show?"

Known for his interviews with celebrities from the political, entertainment
and business elite-PBS talk-show host Charlie Rose doesn't usually provide
a forum for opinions critical of established power. And so many viewers must
have done a double take when tuning into The Charlie Rose Show on March 3rd
to see three of the most articulate critics of domestic and global corporate
power.

There they were, consumer advocate and corporate gadfly Ralph Nader, author
William Greider and Jim Hightower, the progressive populist radio talk-show
host and author.

We want to commend The Charlie Rose Show for presenting views which speak
for millions of people, but dissent from the usual rhumba line of policy
makers seen on national television. And if YOU saw the show you might want
to contact Charlie Rose and let him know that you'd like to see MORE of this
side of the discussion on his show. You can contact The Charlie Rose Show
by phone, fax or e-mail. The phone number for Charlie Rose is, 212-940-1600,
the fax number is 212-940-1909, and the e-mail address for the Charlie Rose
show is Charlie Rose by e-mail at <charlierose@pbs.org>.
