GET ME JESUS ON THE LINE:

	Lifeline, a long-distance telephone service, was founded by Jesus
Christ says one of its earthly co-founders, Carl Thompson. The Oklahoma
City* company bills $6 million a month in the Lord's name, renting
established lines, but says it will have its own in four years. AT&T is
"the Devil,**" Thompson says, because it "helps gays and lesbians.***"
Lifeline donates 20% of its profits to the Founder -- to "conquer the world
in the name of Jesus."

* Conspiracy theorists alert.
** I agree fully, as do many telecom analysts and committed schizophrenics.
*** But not for this reason.
