"Northern Exposure," cancelled this week by CBS after six seasons, has
yet to complete its run on the network.  The final three episodes of the
offbeat series, which chronicles the eclectic denizens of tiny Cicely,
Alaska, will be shown in July.  The final episode is not a finale, a
spokesman for the show's producers said, because it was bot known at the
time it was shot that the series would be cancelled.  "There is some
closure on the last episode," a spokesperson said, "but it's more of a
season finale."  -- L.A Times
