During a multiculturalism debate this week in the Washington State House,
discussion got heated on the subject of English as our "national language."
One of the new freshmen members got so inspired that he opined "All I have
to say is, if English was good enough for Jesus, it's good enough for me."

Unfortunately, I am not making this up. At least our political folklore will
be the richer for the new majority.
