American Banjo Camp

Site Information

We're located at a beautiful wooded camp called Pilgrim Firs outside Port orchard, Washington on the Olympic Peninsula. Early September is often blessed with glorious weather in the northwest, and classes can be held indoors or outdoors, depending on weather conditions. See "Travel Logistics" for directions. Also see general information on the Pilgrim Firs Conference Center

Meals

Pilgrim Firs has a lodge with a dining room that serves three meals a day. The meals are served buffet style. They are nutritious and simple, with a salad bar at all lunches and dinners. Coffee, hot water, and a selection of teas are available 24 hrs a day. Dietary needs and preferences – vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, dairy free, etc. - can be indicated on our registration form; we will make sure that the kitchen staff knows about them.

Travel

If you want driving directions to Pilgrim Firs, or a ride from the airport, or the name of a local limo/shuttle service, or you want to offer a ride to anyone coming from your neighborhood, see the travel page.

Maps

We have maps of the Pilgrim Firs Conference Center and the general area on our Maps page.
